Is it an abscess?
About a week ago I had sore gums that felt similar to I had something stuck between my teeth. I flossed and flossed, but nothing come out, so I gave up. A couple days later I come down with the flu, with fever/vomitting/sore throat/stuffiness, etc. A daytime or two after that time (the 10th or 11th) I noticed that the area that have been sore in my gums be very painful/swollen. It is in the greatly back of my bottom teeth, after my wisdom tooth. I tried to inspect it within the mirror (Hard to do!) and noticed that there be a swollen area on the top of my gums there (right aft the wisdom tooth) AND right above it on the inside of my cheek. They don't look like pimples or anything as I've hear abscesses being described, but it feel like I've been punched contained by the jaw. I went to the Dr. on the 13th because of a sinus/ear infection and I'm on antibiotics (ammoxicilian and prednisone, which the Dr. said be for my "swollen throat") but the back of my mouth is the same.
Is this an abscess?

i had one on my stomach that i ended up have to go the emergency room for. it wasnt like HUGE but it be a little bigger than the size of a quarter... they had to do emergency surgery to verbs it out and they couldnt use general anestetic because it would spread the germs and i couldnt do a stomach pump because there wasnt time so they didnt put me below... so i could feel everything!! i did get twinge reliever right after though.
im not trying to scare you, but i would see a doctor specifically about it asap so you dont cease up in the emergency room.

THE AREA WHICH YOU DESCRIBED MAY NOT BE AN ABSCESS. A DENTIST NEEDS TO EXAMINE YOU.
It sure sounds approaching one to me. Your doctor got you on antibiotics and prednisone, so that will also work on the abcess, but it's goin gto take a bit time. Also gargle with some warm brackish water and/or listerine. It'll take a few days, be lenient..
Is in attendance any dentist that would be feeling like to discount a root waterway?
I hold overbite and I will update a friend to punch me surrounded by the teeth so this help them push them fund.?
