I chipped one of my back teeth on a hard skittle and it purely keeps chipping further in that spot. It doesn't hurt, but it almost looks similar to a hole now. There was a chock-full cavity on the top, so I'm wondering if the tooth is so bad that it cant be fixed properly.

My poor habits as a child hold ruined me.I didn't take care of my teeth as a child, mostly because I never feel any of the cavities I had but when my teeth be crowded, it would hurt. Is it possible to be desensitized in the tooth area?

Will I enjoy to get a root canal? Because I've hear so many bad stories around that. Don't tell me "go to the dentist" because I will do it if I bring back some good advice.

if it's not impossible they'll just fill it and you'll be fine.
however, if the chip is fruitless, or covers most of your tooth, you'll need a root canal.
root canal aren't as bad as everyone says, you'll be fine if you obligation one.
i had three on my front teeth.
just bring in sure to keep food out of it until you go to the dentist and things should be okay..
