I am having teeth extracted and full dentures, any advice, I am scared?

Don't worry about it. You'll be fine. I went to the dentist once, and they pulled out 8 teeth while I was awake. They numbed my gums, or course, but I could feel it later. It wasn't that bad. I think you'll make it..
Telling to do a better job taking care of your teeth is stupid since youre already past that. I suggest you make sure you get a dentist that can arrange for a general anesthesia by an IV. You will need to pay a bit more for an anethesiologist but it will be a much less unpleasant experience if you have it done with this assistance. Dont do local anesth. it will only be more miserable.good luck!!

But..for something this major, I am sure they will put you to sleep for it. Just make sure to follow their guidelines for aftercare!.
Let the doctor know you feel anxious and afraid.
He will probably prescribe something to calm you down on that day.
Think of it his way:Soon you will have a nice smile.

dont be afraid it will work out Im not sure are they going to put you out when they do the extractions. Just think no more pain and yukky teeth be calm it will be okay.
Don't expect them to work like real teeth. You will be sore and you will have to learn how to eat, talk and swallow all over again. The first 3 or 4 months will be the most difficult.

BEFORE THE TEETH ARE ALL PULLED HAVE THE DENTIST MAKE YOU IMMEDIATE DENTURES WHICH CAN BE PLACED RIGHT AFTER THE TEETH ARE PULLED. THIS WAY YOU'LL LEAVE THE OFFICE WITH TEETH (DENTURES) AND THE HEALING IS FASTER.
