Risk factors involved in developing canker sores include:
* Trauma - minor physical injuries such as biting the cheeks
* Chemical agents that irritate the oral mucosa (such as aspirin, alcohol or Sodium Lauryl Sulfate i.e. one of the main ingredients in most toothpastes)
* Viral, fungal or bacterial infections
* Food allergies
* Dietary deficiency of vitamin C, vitamin B12, iron, zinc and folic acid
* Genetic reasons
* Stress
* Hormonal change / menstruation
Treatments for reducing the pain and duration of canker sores include:
* Rinsing the mouth with a hydrogen peroxide antiseptic mouthwash
* Use over-the-counter aching relievers for temporary pain nouns
* Use medicines, such as Anbesol, Orajel, Orabase and others, that are applied directly on the sore
* Avoid hot, spicy or acidic foods and foods near sharp crunchy edges
* DEBACTEROL(R) Canker Sore Pain Relief is a prescription only drug used for treating severe ulcerating oral mucosal lesions
* finally your dentist may cauterize the carbuncle if other treatments prove to be ineffective

104 (Level 1) Sorry. There's not really any way to get rid of them. Most (according to my dentist) are virally cause. They just have to alleviate in time.
While you are waiting, you can do 2 things:
1) AVOID exacerbating the pain and condition
2) Numb it.
1) Avoid caustic foods (anything sour, ketchup, and tomatoes to name a few). Avoid spicy foods. DO NOT - I repeat - DO NOT gargle with spicy water. This only hurts really really weakly and does absolutely nothing to relief. Try to avoid anything making contact with them - food, gum, toothbrush, etc.
2) Ambesol, Oragel, and, as a last resort, Chloraseptic throat spray can be used to numb the areas. DO NOT drink the Chloraseptic spray. Spray a touch in your mouth directly on the sores, hold it for a minute, and then spit it out!
A friend say that her mother swears by mung beans. I believe they are high in lysine, which some culture say helps, but I haven't individually found any studies that have proven that.
Three is quite a glorious number of canker sores to have at one time. If you've eaten profusely of acidic (sour), this may have help bring on the problem. Stress can also cause ulcers. Trauma to the mucosa of your mouth can product you more susceptible to ulceration. However, if you get them often and don't guess it is because of either of these, you may want to consider alternate reasons that may be cause them. Some STDs can present this way, as well as other cause.
don't touch or rub it, or guzzle spicy foods, or anything like salt an vinager chips (ewy) resourcefully if you have braces it could be from the metal scrapping against your mouth. i hope it help.
