Getting braces tomorrow, any tips?

Just prepare yourself for the torment. It's going to hurt A LOT. You might have trouble controlling your saliva (I know I did), and speak demurely for awhile 'cause you might spray someone with it. Your lips are going to draw from chapped, so I suggest some petroleum jelly. I couldn't eat anything for a month, just noodles that I had to cut into tiny pieces. You'll touch some discomfort for a week or two from the braces, but you'll get used to it eventually. Oh, I suggest you hold onto your seat when they tighten them, 'cause you might punch &/or kick the dentist as a reflex. Good luck! You're going to involve it. Cheers! Braces are not as fruitless as they can be made out to be. It's not sore getting them on, it just takes forever and its annoying.
The pain will come for the subsequent few days afterwards, you just have to stick to soft foods and you'll be fine
pain for me -
getting them on - 4/10
subsequent few days - 6/10
tightenings - 3/10
getting them off - 5/10 (polish i found sore)

for color, i'd get pink, blue, or purple....btw..for braces, the only art that really hurt for me be when they fit the metal cap thingies on your molars...my gums are very swollen and sensitve,so it hurt reallllyyyy bad...getting the colors on hurts somewhat, cuz they pull your teeth a lot
I used to get the coloured bits changed every visit... I have green and orange at Halloween and Green and Red at Christmas etc, very cool :)
It doesn't really hurt but it does ache... Each time you stop by they will re-adjust the wire part and your teeth will ache for a morning or two then back to normal till the subsequent visit...

Don't eat chewing gum, it's killer!

When I had braces (I just recently get them off), I tried the colors light blue and purple. I really liked how it looked.
I'm going to be honest with you and supply you a heads up. People who have had train tracks said they hurt. I never have them so I'm not sure if it's true or not. But don't worry, at least you know that you're teeth are going to be straighter!!

You will have to put up next to a fair bit of stick from your mates. Don't forget that there might be some misery but it will be a gain for your overall when you finish the process and you have nicely aligned teeth.
I went through the process a couple of years ago and don't remember in that being too much pain (not enough to breed a lasting impact on me anyway) but you will have to cut down on sugary snacks and apples etc. as well as pronounce things closely more.

My friend has them and apparently it doesn't hurt that much but in that is some after pain for a couple of days. You should get a booklet about how to maintain them clean and stuff like that. As for colours, if you want them to go unnoticed next a light pink is best. xx
Get plain because empire will ask you if you have **** in your teeth lol. I had braces for 1 and a partially years. You get used to them but it just sucks going in for the check ups and the tightenings. It one and only hurts for the first day after you tighten it. You will find that you can't eat certain food resembling apples. And make sure you don't break them off, it sucks. It dosn't hurt to get them put on the they put this big platic article in your mouth that opens your lips and if they arn't damp they crack and hurt so it's all really easy, just take time. And when you get your retainer ask for the clear one for top and bottem, and don't have them put the bar within the bottem of your teeth when you get your braces taken out.
