Removing 3 teeth tomorrow for braces.?
Answers:
Nah, it's really not that bad at all.
I have four removed (had to go twice as they couldn;t numb both sides of my mouth!) and I am a HUGE wimp when it gums to needles lol. Ask them to numb your gum before they inject it. It's still uncomfy but not quite as discouraging, and the stuff they use is bubblefum flavoured ;D
You feel nothing during the extraction and I didn't think it sounded that discouraging either? Much worse noises to come with your orthodontical treatment! LOL
Of course it bleeds! They've only pulled your teeth out! And your mouth is all numb so the blood all pools around and you look extremely stupid hha, but it doesn't hurt at all because it's completely numb. Just remember to rinse your mouth out next to warm salt water every so normally when you've had them out, to keep it clean - the dentist should inform you how often you need to do it. I had four teeth extracted a few months pay for, and I was super worried about it too. It's not as bad as you consider, honestly. The worst part is probably the numbing, and even that isn't bad. If you want to bring your ipod or a cd player, they will let you listen to it, and it help to keep you relaxed. When they actually pull the teeth, you can touch pressure, but not pain. It's nothing that's really explainable, but you will understand what I mingy when it happens. Afterwards they will bleed for a few hours, but it isn't too much. If you continue to take Tylenol/Advil the distress won't be too bad either. Good luck, you'll do great!
when I was younger I had to hold out 4 (2 from the bottom and 2 from the top) so I can have my braces put on. I can honestly tell you that you will feel the pressure of your teeth coming out and it will nouns like something is ripping...but it will not hurt bc your gums will be numbed from the needle. If anything the needle will hurt more and thats singular a pinch so you should be just fine.
you will have a lil bleeding and your face will be numb and hurt for a lil bit..but nought that motrin/aspirin/tylenol cant help you with.
Wishing you the best..Good Luck!! Source(s): personal exp.
Not at all. I had to achieve teeth removed, and my friend freaked me out telling me they hurt super bad, so I was really afraid. But what do you know? I didn't be aware of a thing?
im not sure.. but as long as i can remember.. it only hurt when they inject your gum.. when they verbs, you can feel it but i won't be hurt..
bleeding and pain yes. but not sure about swelling though. polite luck. don't be scared. u can survive this. :D
