Can a piece of your chin bone stick out of your gum after extraction?

I had teeth extracted a few months ago and I looked at my gum and I see something white at the base of my gum chain. I don't know if its my jaw bone or a missed tooth. I have a denture plate. It doesnt hurt but its sharp and I see decay(black)in the middle of where on earth the white part is. I'm really worried because I don't have insurance and when I have all of my teeth pulled I went to a kinfolk dentist she told me I wouldn't feel anything but I felt alot of it(ended up have panic attacks afterwards and then lost my job)

Wait awhile it sounds resembling a piece of your tooth that does happen some times,it will finally come out on its own
It sounds as if a piece of root may hold broken off, and was gone in the gum, notify your dentist and explaine what you think it is , and rather she could remove it without charge ,as she should have to initiate with.As for your panic attacks, it sounds close to you may have them over more than a tooth extraction , look for a mental health clinic that is to say free and get some medication, dont feel fruitless about needing it , your not the simply person who has them.
As the other posters own mentioned, it sounds like a root chip. When extracting teeth it is not uncommon for small slivers to break and it can be massively difficult to identify this at the time of the extraction. Call your dentist and he/she will remove it.

I realize your last experience was difficult, but know that removing this root chip will be especially, very easy. The chip is not attached to the bone and is held within only by tissue. The doctor will give you any just a topical anesthetic (no needle) or a light injection of local anesthetic and remove the chip painlessly in need the need for the big, heavy instruments and loud cracking noise that you heard at your last look in. It will help your fears if you understand that this is nil like an actual tooth extraction. It will likely bring less than ten minutes and you should have really minimal, if any, discomfort afterwards.

Truthfully, you could remove this little piece yourself... it's less attached than a loose baby tooth, BUT you are getting best guesses from citizens on the internet not an actual diagnosis. Let your dentist check it just to be certain that it indeed is a chip not something else.

As for cost, your dentist isn't promising to charge you anything for this removal. It's considered part of the original treatment.

Good luck!.
