Okay today I found out i have only 6 weeks not here until I get my braces off. They give me rubber bands to put around my canine teeth, starting from the bottom to the top, but twisting so they get wrapped around the teeth TWICE. My examine is, how do I do this? The nurse showed me, but i had to take them out to drink and now i can't get them rear in. Please explain how to put them back within! I really need help.

Also, when they're within, i can barely open my mouth, so its a pretty strong hold.

I hope you find out, but be sure to wear those rubber band every day. It is supposed to help your bite and if you do not wear them, later you would still have to continue to wear braces.

There should be hooks on your braces contained by the back of your mouth. Your orthodontist was supposed to specify which hooks to use..

Hook the rubber belt on the top bracket hook, then put it on the bottom one (do it as if you were going to not wrap it twice). Then, clutch one side of the band, pull it out, and verbs it. Then, hook it on both bracket hooks again. I'm sorry if that is confusing. It's the best explanation I can give..
