I'm really excited going on for getting braces but my friends say aloud that i shouldn't be. Am i wierd to be excited?

I be really excited too, I got mine within February last year it is really worth it. You do budge through some pain but it's not extreme and Advil Liquid-Gels aid alot. Maybe for just a week you hold to stick to soft foods like oat teatime Ice cream Milk mashed potatoes; stay away from Doritos and sugary foods and I should Advise you to bring back an electric toothbrush because there soo knotty to clean but man my teeth are PERFECT presently!

but After a while you just find so bored of the changing colors

No you are not weird to be excited almost gettin your braces, that just shows you own a possitive attitude, don't let anyone brand name you feel different, they are of late envious cuz when the braces come off your gonna hold beautiful teeth & a hired gun smile. As for does it hurt, no when they adjust the bands & tighten them your teeth may be for a moment sore for a few days , no major backache. Color wise within are a bunch of choice's my 15 yr old daughter have the clear ones and they aren't very noticible. As far as how they put them on, her's be done by putting a dental bond on the teeth,placing the brace on then they held an ultra purple light on to take home them bond. You should be excited, that's a biddable thing! Although they're really tiring to hold care of. I would procure any color but yellow and green, end in the green fades to a wicked color... Braces can really hurt right after they adjust them but that goes away after a few days
Being a Skin-head I too think braces are cool. So much better than belts
completely not. i've always looked-for braces but no luck. my friend says they don't hurt that much and her one and only problem is she can't eat things close to tootsie rolls with them. but miley cyrus/hannah montana is getting them soon, too. so y'all might start a trend!!
No course.its def not weird. Your friends are newly jealous you'll be getting immaculate looking teeth, also I had braces, so when I have them, I made sure the rubber bands be nice and colorful.they match the holidays coming up...its pretty great to be getting braces

well i guess everyone think differently about it... for me one-sidedly it wasnt exciting..just that I don`t know my teeth could look a bit better
advice: in good health yes it does hurt quite a bit when the putting them on and u gonna miss out on some foods.. after a month its A LOT better trust me.. yes im in fact eatin popcorn now even tho ur not supposed to.. but if u in recent times brush properly and floss and all that youll b fine
the first morning after u get em u only just find out how much harder it is to clean ur teeth and how much longer it is
the flossing sector is practically hell 4 me but hopin it turns out better 4 u
and the thing my dentist say.. you get to pick a different color every month ..but for me its similar to whatever
merely pick a color that u like beacuse u gotta wear em for a month and consequently change em..
I hold noo idea how they put em on of late that im watching a movie in the dentist bench for an hour...

when you do obtain your braces just feat like you dont own any on, eat doesn`t matter what you like (i'd avoid apples) and dont covering it!
i got blue and red (the red looks similar to pink!) or just insubstantial blue or clear (clear looks like silver so it doesnt attract attention to your braces as much!)
what the orthodontists do is first put paste and the each bracket on your teeth. afterwards they shine a blue light on them (that make the glue dry) afterwards they connect them with the telecommunication. you can feel the pressure but it doesnt hurt (only when you're intake but after 2 weeks you will feel normal)
consequently every few months when you get a check up they tightn your braces up until your teeth enjoy been set to the right position.
when you obtain them off it doesnt hurt at adjectives! so dont worry mete out its definatly worth it! good luck ;)
my mate decided not to own braces when he was younger,it cost him lb1200 to put his teeth right when he be older,he pulls adjectives the girls now next to his perfect smile,i aversion him. be exited nice teeth go a long means of access
I have lately turned thirteen and I got train track braces contained by December after having really annoying/sore overbite braces (they made you look close to you were giving severe sniders plus all your food get stuck in the top plate).
No you are not wird when I be twelve and away to get them I be excited and all my friends who already have them were matching as your friends! I now can't believe I be ever excited about them!
Right this might pilfer a wee while for me to explain.
It doesn't hurt when you first put them on it hurts about twenty minutes latter and lasts up to something like to two weeks afterwards depending on how sensitive your teeth are (mine lasted for just about three days).
If you don't like college you will like it even though it's uncomfortable because you normally achieve about two days sour each time it's tightened because it's so bumpy (so painful you wind up up crying half the time only to let you know).
Sorry if I'm scare you but I thought you should know the honest truth.
I've never had a tooth sting as I have have brilliant teeth hygiene all my natural life but I think it is probably worse considering you seize mild tooth aches and extremely very raw tooth aches.
They give me one ulsar because at one side my orthadontist left the chain too long but it soon goes away as your gums adjust.
I've never have the colours changed but when i had them put of the first time (the same as varying them) it was painless it be the most relaxing bit of the treatment.
I would suggest buying the little floshing brushes to use in your braces and use the hose down pik aswell. I use both and it helps desperate breath and stuff like that.
Also stock up of mouthwash and toothpaste for plain reasons!
Always pass mints and a little compact mirror for discouraging breath plus food stuck in the braces. It's really not nice for inhabitants to see or smell.
Since I am bored I will explain what happened to me e.g. how he put it on.
First manifestly you lie support in the bench and put these speacial UV protection glasses on.
He first cleans your teeth near something simmilar to a water pik.
He consequently puts green gel stuff on your teeth so the braces will stick better (they are glued to your teeth BTW). Don't put your toungue on the gel it taste digusting and leaves you with a horrible fondness in your mouth adjectives day.
He get the brackets (the bits the colour goes on) and sticks them beside special glue on your teeth. One per tooth.
He very soon cuts a bit of wire and clips that contained by to each bracket to form a brace. He know asks you what colours you would approaching. I would suggest green and pink as it looks super cool in your mouth but it's your ruling.
He puts the colours in (you can ask for three colours one after the other, two colours one after the other or first on the top set second colour on the bottom set).
Now he explains your brushing routine and give you dental wax to helps your gums and tongue (you can roughly throw thi in the bin when you are home - it is hopeless and doesn't even stick to your braces).
I forgot to mention that while he is doing this you enjoy a vacuam type tube in your mouth so you don't choke on your saliva or the sea out the water pik piece.
I have pink and green at the momment they are massively cool. They are very bright! The green is lovely. I hold these colours until March I want black and purple in March.
The black is super cool too I conjecture and doesn't make you look resembling you have rotton teeth. Since within March it's nearly easter time I suggest "Easter colours" like pink, washed out, green, light blue, lilacs. Any soft/pastal colour is similar to a "Easter colour".
If you are scared/worried tell your orthadontist he/she should consequently take you through what they are going to do to clear you feel at effortlessness.
